Programme overview
The integrating risk and sustainability workshop uses Action Learning principles to combine collaborative learning, action and adaptation to create a practical experience with tangible outputs. During this eight-month programme you will learn how to respond to the evolving landscape of environmental and social risks.
As Chekov so eloquently puts it, “knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice”. We completely agree. This is why you will test tools and approaches with a real life scenario within the workshop setting. The founder and CEO of an impact startup will attend as your live case study. After hands-on experience within the workshop you will continue to test the approaches within your organisation, supported by Impact Amplified and your cohort peer group.
Following completion of the programme you are invited to join the Impact Amplified alumni to continue your learning journey at your own pace.
E-learning modules covering core knowledge e.g. 9 planetary boundaries to set the foundations for the workshop.
Deep dive alongside Risk and Sustainability managers from non-competing industries, and an impact entrepreneur to bring it to life.
The programme includes six months of supported implementation. Delivered through 1:1 consultancy calls, group discussions and shared insights.
Reconvene to recap on lessons-learnt and actions and plan for next steps on your continued learning journey.
NB: To book your whole team onto the programme please contact us for pricing, availability and tailoring to your specific needs. To book one or more places on a mixed company course please see below for available dates.

Research commissioned by OVO Energy found that one less unnecessary email per day could save 16,433 tonnes of carbon a year – equivalent to 81,152 flights to Madrid – so we promise you’ll only receive our newsletter, nothing more.
We need to achieve a sustainable balance of meeting the needs of both people and planet and not focusing on one to the detriment of the other – harmonising people, planet and prosperity.
When considering business sustainability we look at how the firm (positively or negatively) impacts our Earth system and society (inside-out), and how our Earth system and society may (positively or negatively) impact a firm’s ability to achieve its objectives (outside-in).
